Federal Funding Toolkit
The ARC Federal Funding Toolkit is a rich and comprehensive resource that enhances basic learning on how
to effectively navigate through the Federal grants process. The toolkit is a product of collaborative efforts of the
Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and
Caliber Associates, an ICF International Company to help community and faith-based
organizations effectively navigate the Federal funding process.
Why was the Toolkit created?
The Toolkit was created in order to supplement the information and training provided during our ARC Navigating the
Federal Funding Process trainings and to facilitate the learning from the individual training sessions.
Who is the Toolkit for?
The Toolkit is designed to supplement and reinforce participants' learning at our ARC regional and national training events.
These training events are intended to encourage the participants to go back to their communities to share what they learned about
the Federal grants process with other individuals in their organizations and other community- and faith-based agencies with whom
they come in contact.
What does the Toolkit contain?
The Toolkit contains nine (9) sections that are designed to support aspects of the Federal grant writing process. The Toolkit
also supports the ARC Learning Community, which is an interactive feature that allows participants from the regional trainings to
post and respond to questions. The Learning Community is password protected; however, anyone can view posted messages. To receive
notification of updates to the Toolkit, consider
joining the ARC listserv.
The sections of the Toolkit include the following:
